I believe that academic research should contribute to public conversations and help people understand the social issues affecting their everyday lives.

Alongside my academic work, I am interested in communicating sociological knowledge to wider audiences through public commentary, interviews, presentations, and accessible writing.

My areas of interest for public engagement include social inequality, urban development, migration, digitalisation, artificial intelligence, sustainable development, agriculture, and rural livelihoods.

I welcome opportunities to contribute to media discussions, public lectures, podcasts, and conversations that connect academic research with contemporary social challenges in Norway, Ghana, and beyond.
